Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) issued General Resolution No. 1099, comprehensively revising the transitional provisions in its rules and other issuer-related provisions as part of its deregulation and regulatory simplification programme. The reform repeals transitional provisions rendered obsolete following General Resolution No. 1095, including deleting Chapter XVII on “Guarantee Entities”, and standardises terminology to reflect updated definitions in the issuer framework. It also removes the obligation for issuers that fall exclusively under the low-impact, automatic-authorisation public offering regime to submit the “MiPyME Certificate”, for both share issuances and negotiable obligations.
