The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission, together with the Thai Life Assurance Association, has launched the 2026 Volunteer Insurance Teachers program to expand access to educational support for children and youth in remote areas. The initiative brings together the insurance industry to provide learning resources, school support and volunteer-led teaching activities, with the first field visit held at Ban Khao On School in Trang province. The program is designed to fund teaching materials and equipment, support budgets for hiring teachers, and deliver volunteer activities by insurance-sector personnel in subjects including English, mathematics, science and life skills. In 2026, five schools in Trang, Sisaket, Ratchaburi, Lopburi and Kamphaeng Phet are participating. Support is being provided by the Thai Life Assurance Association, the Thai General Insurance Association, the Association of Thai Life Assurance Agents and Financial Advisors, the Thai Insurance Brokers Association and the Thailand Office of Insurance Commission. At the first activity on June 26, the organizers donated teaching media, educational equipment and essential items, and ran activities for students led by volunteers from the life insurance sector.
