The Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission and the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority are exploring a memorandum of understanding to formalize regulatory cooperation. The proposed arrangement would support information exchange, technical assistance and mutual regulatory support in responding to market developments, emerging threats and cross-border challenges. The authorities discussed supervisory approaches to virtual assets, fintech, anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, credit unions and other emerging financial services activities. They also exchanged views on governance and risk management, emphasizing proportionate frameworks that address evolving risks while enabling responsible innovation.
