The CVM reported indications that the firms, using the ATFX and ATFX Brasil brands and the websites atfx.com and atfx.com.br, were seeking to attract clients resident in Brazil to conduct transactions in securities. It also cited evidence that AT Assessoria de Investimentos Ltda has been prospecting clients for the referenced firms. The CVM warned that AT Global Markets International Limited, AT Global Markets (Brazil) Ltda and AT Capital Group Limited are not authorised by the CVM to intermediate securities or to raise investor funds for investment in securities, and reiterated that investment advisers may only act as agents under the responsibility of institutions that are part of the securities distribution system, in line with CVM Resolution 178.
