Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan approves seven senior appointments in the insurance sector

The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has granted consent for seven senior appointments in the insurance sector, covering executive body and management body roles, including an independent director position. The approved individuals are Timirgaleyev S.S. (member of the executive body), Ashkeyev O.M. (head of the executive body), Tultebayev A.N. (other senior manager), Rahimov A.K. (member of the management body), Kargapolov D.A. (member of the management body), Sakharbekov D.M. (member of the management body as an independent director), and Krasikov M.I. (other senior manager), with approvals recorded across protocols dated 5–23 May 2025. The agency also noted that, where qualification requirements under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activities are met, a senior manager who already has authorised-body consent to take up a senior role may be transferred within the same sector to a similar position without additional consent. Current consents are available via the insurance sector section of the permits and notifications registries.
