The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) announced the appointment of Russell White as Chief Information Officer, effective 25 February 2026, to support its digital transformation and strengthen its technology foundation. White brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across information technology, digital transformation, financial services, and regulatory environments. Most recently, he served as Chief Information Officer at the Ontario Securities Commission, leading enterprise initiatives including digital transformation, IT modernization, cloud migration, cybersecurity strategy, and the development of an enterprise data and analytics platform. Previous leadership roles include IFDS, Intact Financial Corporation, and BMO Financial Group.
