The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a financial literacy forum under its Fingramota.kz project, focusing on responsible borrowing, management of credit obligations and protection against financial fraud. The event brought together financial market experts, industry representatives and students to discuss the safe use of banking products, financial planning and the risks associated with money mule activity and misuse of personal data. The forum also presented the new Finkelisim.kz platform, which is designed to simplify the resolution of overdue debts owed by an individual to multiple creditors. Participants received information on eligibility and applications, as well as how the platform creates a single debt repayment schedule. Separate sessions covered the assessment of borrowing capacity and credit terms, savings and investment decisions, and bank anti-fraud mechanisms.
