The Central Bank of Cuba has opened a workshop in Havana on environmental and social risk management for key participants from the country’s financial and environmental sectors. The training is supported by the United Nations Development Programme and the Biodiversity Finance Initiative. The workshop covers its objectives and working methodology, the role of green banking in the strategic objectives of Cuba’s banking and financial system, and the guidelines of the National Biological Diversity Program through 2030.
