The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) participated in the second Economic Cybercrime Meeting organised by the Córdoba Public Prosecutor’s Office, held on 11–12 September in Villa Carlos Paz. CNV Virtual Asset Service Providers sub-manager Victoria Donato spoke on a panel on criminal policy and cryptoassets, focusing on challenges for criminal prosecution in complex crime contexts, and also joined a panel on Argentina’s crypto ecosystem, regulation and the role of the state. The event highlighted emerging challenges and prevention tools in the crypto ecosystem, public-private collaboration and digital investigation. It brought together representatives from prosecution and security bodies, academia and industry, and was held in cooperation with the Ministry of National Security, the Villa Carlos Paz Tourism Chamber, the Argentine Fintech Chamber, the FinLaw Association and other institutions.
