The Japan Financial Services Agency promulgated an order partially amending the Order on Credit Businesses of Fishery Cooperatives, etc., to put in place provisions required in connection with the recently amended Enforcement Regulations of the Insurance Business Act. The amendments follow the Cabinet Office Ordinance that partially amends the Enforcement Regulations of the Insurance Business Act and were adopted without a public comment process, as the FSA treated them as a technical arrangement of provisions that is naturally necessary due to the enactment, revision, or abolition of other laws and regulations under the Administrative Procedure Act. The order takes effect upon promulgation.
