The Bank of Italy has published the results of two fintech surveys, covering both supervised intermediaries and non-supervised operators, to provide a consolidated view of Italy’s national fintech ecosystem. The fifth edition of the Fintech Survey on the Italian financial system assesses investment projects and the strategies through which banks and non-bank financial intermediaries are integrating new technologies into their operating models. The first edition of the Fintech Survey on non-supervised operators reviews sector developments by examining business models, adopted technologies, growth strategies and the impact of regulation.
