The Central Bank of Russia has published the business programme for its Financial Congress in St Petersburg on 1–3 July 2026 and opened registration. The programme starts with two plenary sessions on 1 July, followed by 21 panel sessions across 2–3 July. The first plenary session, with participation by Governor Elvira Nabiullina, will discuss the extent to which the economy has returned to balanced growth, the role of macroeconomic policy, the importance of low inflation, and the impact of volatile external conditions. The second plenary session will focus on how technologies and innovation are changing financial market strategies and customer experience, and what is needed to accelerate market development. Panel discussions will cover topics including monetary and fiscal policy interaction, global economic developments, exchange rate factors, banking sector challenges, preventing insider trading and manipulation, future investor needs, and the expected timing of first cryptocurrency transactions, with participation by Bank of Russia senior management, leading Russian financial institutions, government authorities, and experts.
