The Central Bank of Cyprus has launched an institutionalised programme of regular dialogues with representatives of the Cypriot business community, aimed at strengthening its monitoring of sectoral developments and using stakeholder input in policy formulation. The initiative also seeks to improve public and institutional understanding of the Central Bank’s policies and strategic directions. The dialogues will involve associations and organisations from key sectors including industry, financial services, tourism and technology. The Central Bank will publish results and key discussion points via press releases and on its website. The first meeting is scheduled for 27 February 2026 under the theme “First Institutionalized Dialogue of the CBC with the Business Community: Challenges and Prospects of the Cyprus Economy”.
