The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that Governor Jasmina Selimovic will attend the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., from 21 to 26 April 2025, alongside a programme of high-level discussions on global economic and financial issues and regional payments modernisation. Her schedule includes the G30 2025 Spring Lecture hosted by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, the 39th Annual G30 International Banking Seminar, and a regional meeting on implementing a TIPS clone system for the Western Balkans focused on aligning instant payments with European standards. She will also join a World Bank-hosted session on financial inclusion and women’s economic empowerment in Europe and Central Asia, and hold bilateral meetings with senior IMF and World Bank officials on institutional cooperation and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s reform priorities.
