The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM), through its Corporate Relations Superintendency (SEP), issued a circular letter to inform listed companies, foreign issuers and incentivized companies that the Empresas.Net filing system will be accessed via a new web address from 29 October 2025, including the option to connect using a Gov.BR account. Under the procedures described, the company’s Director of Investor Relations or Legal Representative, as the privileged user, will receive an email between 18 and 29 October 2025 confirming the release of their Gov.BR account for submitting documents via Empresas.Net for the issuer for which they are responsible under CVM Resolutions 80 and 10. If the Director of Investor Relations or Legal Representative changes, the privileged user will be switched by deactivating the prior user and enabling the new privileged user’s Gov.BR account following the submission or resubmission of the relevant registration information reflecting the change. SEP also noted that while access can be assigned to other employees, this does not remove the Director of Investor Relations’ or Legal Representative’s responsibility for the periodic and ad hoc disclosures required under securities market regulation.
