The Angola Capital Markets Commission (CMC) participated in a Mindset Radio programme on 8 October, as part of World Investor Week 2025, focused on “Regulation and the use of Crowdfunding in project financing”. The session reviewed Angola’s existing regulatory framework and discussed the potential and challenges of using crowdfunding to finance business projects. Topics included crowdfunding’s role in supporting Angola’s business ecosystem, capital-raising opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups, regulation and protection for participants, and good practices and requirements for operating crowdfunding platforms. The programme was moderated by CMC representative António Van-Dúnem and featured Carlos Oliveira (FundCube) and Jonathan Mandombe (Moxilan), targeting entrepreneurs, startups, investors and other economic agents interested in digital financing options.
