The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) announced that it will hold a judgment session at 15:00 on 12 August to decide two administrative sanctioning proceedings. One case concerns DDbank Donard Digital Bank Serviços de Pagamento Ltda., Investplan Securitizadora S/A, Pamela Cristine de Souza and Salomão Silveira Soares, opened to assess responsibility for an alleged irregular public offering of debentures. The second involves Thatiana Schaffer de Souza Morete and Gleiverson Almeida Morete, opened to examine an alleged fraudulent operation, irregular portfolio management and irregular activity as an autonomous investment agent. The session is open to the public, will be held in person at the CVM’s headquarters and may also be followed by videoconference. If none of the accused or their appointed legal representatives indicate an intention to participate, the judgment will be conducted in restricted form through voting in an electronic system, and the published reports may be revised after the session.
