Moroccan Insurance Authority re-elected to IAIS Executive Committee as MENA representative

The Moroccan Insurance Authority (ACAPS) was re-elected in Tirana, Albania, as the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s representative on the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS). Represented by Ms. Siham Ramli, ACAPS will continue to bring MENA strategic priorities and supervisory challenges to the committee, alongside the Financial Services Authority of the Sultanate of Oman, which was also elected. The IAIS is the global standard-setting body for insurance supervision, developing principles, standards and best practices and supporting their implementation by member supervisory authorities. ACAPS holds the vice-chairmanship of the IAIS Executive Committee and sits on the Audit and Risk Committee, the Implementation and Evaluation Committee, and several technical working groups.
