The Uzbekistan Ministry of Finance held a meeting with STJ Advisors and ScholzvonGleich focused on accelerating privatization, transforming state-owned enterprises, improving their management on market principles and bringing them to the capital market on a phased basis. The sides agreed to develop cooperation further and broaden exchanges on these issues. Discussions also reviewed work under the Uzbekistan National Investment Fund, UzNIF, and considered future priorities. Particular attention went to expanding engagement with international investors, developing state assets with private capital participation and introducing advanced corporate governance practices.
