The Spanish Securities Commission (CNMV) has opened a process to collect expressions of interest from candidates to be included in its proposal to the Commercial Court No. 3 of Murcia for the appointment of the insolvency administrator of listed issuer Liwe Española, S.A., following the company’s request for voluntary insolvency proceedings. Interested parties can submit their candidacies to the CNMV until 25 February 2026. Applications must be filed using the CNMV’s prescribed Excel form and include, among other elements, a declaration that the candidate meets the statutory eligibility requirements and is not subject to incapacity, incompatibility or prohibition; a description of the firm and its insolvency administration experience over the past 10 years (including comparable cases); details of the proposed multidisciplinary team and its dedicated capacity; and evidence of a current professional liability insurance policy or equivalent guarantee, with an insured sum of at least EUR 4 million or an explicit commitment to increase it to that level if appointed. The CNMV notes that the judge will make the final appointment based on its proposal and that it will not issue further communications regarding the designation.
