The Palestine Capital Market Authority (PCMA), in cooperation with the Palestine Exchange, held a training workshop for students at An-Najah National University as part of World Investor Week 2025, aiming to raise financial literacy and awareness of the non-banking financial sectors. The session included an overview of the Palestinian securities sector, including recent technological developments and applications of artificial intelligence, as well as measures to protect investors from fraud. It also covered market surveillance mechanisms and the use of artificial intelligence in financial data analysis to support investment decisions based on accurate information. The Palestine Exchange presented its role in regulating securities trading, promoting transparency and disclosure, and providing investor services, alongside the value of stronger links between the financial market and academia. The workshop forms part of a wider series of PCMA activities under World Investor Week 2025, held for the eighth consecutive year in Palestine under the International Organization of Securities Commissions initiative in cooperation with the World Federation of Exchanges, with participation from regulators and exchanges in more than 136 countries.
