The Central Bank of Armenia hosted a delegation from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development as part of an ongoing benchmarking exercise assessing developments in Armenia’s economic and financial sectors, with OECD experts presenting preliminary findings. The financial markets dimension of the assessment covers the banking sector, non-bank financial institutions, capital markets, corporate governance, and financial literacy, inclusion and consumer protection. Discussions focused on clarifying outstanding issues to ensure the analysis reflects national developments and priorities and to support the development of tailored policy recommendations.
