The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan published orders reissuing licenses for four banks. KMF Bank, Altyn Bank and Bank RBK were issued universal banking licenses that add interbank loans, interbank guarantees, interbank sureties and other interbank operations. The notice also states that Otbasy Bank, the housing construction savings bank, was issued a universal banking license. The expanded permissions for KMF Bank, Altyn Bank and Bank RBK align across all three institutions and specifically cover additional interbank business. For Otbasy Bank, the release identifies the issuance of a universal banking license but does not list additional operations in the notice.
