Thailand Securities & Exchange Commission reported that it inspected ERX Co., Ltd. (ERX), the digital asset exchange operating under the trade name Kucoin Thailand, following ERX’s temporary suspension of business operations and found that all client assets were secure and complete as of 6 January 2026. ERX suspended operations on 3 January 2026 after failing to maintain the required ongoing capital fund, with its capital fund falling to below 60 percent of the minimum capital requirement for digital asset business operators for five consecutive days from 29 December 2025 to 2 January 2026. Resumption of normal digital asset business operations is conditional on ERX restoring its capital fund to the required level and obtaining SEC approval; ERX must also communicate clearly with clients and provide care and assistance as instructed by the SEC. The SEC urged investors and ERX clients to monitor updates through ERX and SEC communication channels, and noted that clients wishing to withdraw assets should contact ERX via its customer service channels.
