The Central Bank of Uruguay renewed certification of all its processes under its Integrated Management System against UNIT ISO 9001:2015 quality-management requirements and UNIT ISO 37001:2016 anti-bribery management systems, following audits completed in October 2025. The certifications were granted by LSQA S.A. and IQNet. The latest audit extends the Bank’s quality certification for an eighth consecutive year, maintaining the standards first certified in 2018 when it became the first public body to certify the entirety of its processes under a single Quality Management System. It also preserves the anti-bribery certification first obtained in 2024, covering controls to prevent, detect and manage bribery risks across BCU activities, and the Bank reiterated the availability of a confidential concerns and reporting channel for staff and external counterparties.
