The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) concluded an administrative sanctioning proceeding and found Pedro Henrique Cruzeiro Rabelo liable for irregularly carrying out securities portfolio management, imposing a temporary 60-month prohibition on acting in any modality of the Brazilian securities market. The case was opened by the Superintendence of Sanctioning Proceedings to assess alleged breaches of Article 23, paragraph 1 of Law 6,385 and Article 2 of CVM Instruction 558. The CVM Board unanimously followed Reporting Director João Accioly’s vote, while Director Marina Copola did not participate due to an institutional engagement. The sanctioned individual may appeal to the National Financial System Appeals Council.
