The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed cooperation agreements with several public faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina to deepen institutional links with academia and support research and skills development for students and young researchers. The agreements provide for joint research, analytical and innovation projects, including guest lectures and tutorships involving academic staff and Central Bank employees. They also cover professional and summer internship programmes for students, collaboration in scientific publishing, support for research projects, and the organisation of workshops, conferences and other knowledge-exchange events. The new agreements were signed with the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo, the Faculty of Economics in Tuzla, the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo, and the Faculty of Economics in Pale, with faculty selection aligned to the Central Bank’s business needs and processes. Further cooperation agreements are planned with the Faculty of Information Technologies in Mostar, the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka and the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka.
