The National Bank of Serbia published an update noting that Global Finance magazine has given Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic an “A-” rating in the Central Banker Report Cards 2025, placing her among the governors receiving the report’s highest grades. Global Finance scores central bank governors on a scale from “A+” to “F” based on performance in areas including inflation control, achieving economic growth targets, currency stability, interest rate management, and political independence. The annual assessments, published since 1994, cover governors from nearly 100 countries, territories and regions, as well as a number of regional and supranational institutions. Global Finance has published on its website the names of governors receiving “A+”, “A” or “A-”, and indicated that the full list of assessments will be published in the magazine’s October print and digital editions and on GFMag.com.
