The Czech National Bank has appointed Lumír Šatran as director of the Moravia Regional Division in its Cash and Payments Department, effective November 1, 2026. He joins from the Fire Rescue Service of the Olomouc Region and previously held senior operational and economic roles in the Czech Customs Administration. Jakub Žák will continue to lead the division on an interim basis until Šatran takes office. Žák assumed temporary responsibility after the former director left in August.
