The Central Bank of Taiwan released its monthly overview of renminbi (RMB) business conducted by banks, reporting updated figures for authorised institutions and key indicators for deposits, lending and remittances. As of 31 December 2025, 65 authorised domestic banking units (DBUs) and 56 offshore banking units (OBUs) were conducting RMB business. End-month RMB deposits totalled RMB 115.36 billion (DBUs RMB 88.39 billion, OBUs RMB 26.97 billion), compared with RMB 115.93 billion in the prior month, while discounts and loans totalled RMB 21.00 billion (DBUs RMB 0.56 billion, OBUs RMB 20.44 billion) versus RMB 19.97 billion. Remittances for November 2025 were RMB 212.21 billion in total (DBUs RMB 120.62 billion, OBUs RMB 91.59 billion), up from RMB 200.77 billion the previous month, and the Taipei Branch of the Bank of China handled RMB 448 billion of RMB settlements in December 2025.

The Central Bank of Taiwan's monthly report shows that as of 31 December 2025, 65 domestic banking units and 56 offshore banking units conducted renminbi business, with RMB deposits at RMB 115.36 billion and remittances for November 2025 at RMB 212.21 billion. The Taipei Branch of the Bank of China processed RMB 448 billion in settlements in December 2025.
