Moldova's National Commission for Financial Markets approved a package of capital-market authorisation and consumer-protection decisions taken at its 6 and 11 February meetings. The actions included registering a new share issue for APA-CANAL STRAȘENI, removing several issuances from the securities issuers register, refusing a proposed corporate separation, and dismissing a preliminary request from DIRECT LEASING seeking to overturn an earlier consumer-protection decision. For APA-CANAL STRAȘENI, the regulator registered securities placed at the company’s establishment totalling MDL 951,778, comprising 951,778 registered ordinary shares with a nominal value of MDL 1, funded through cash and non-cash contributions. It also removed from the register 120,000 registered ordinary shares previously issued by SET-SERVICE following its transformation into CASGRUP AI LLC, and 54,746 registered ordinary shares issued by FARMACIA CARBOFARM following liquidation. The Board refused to grant authorisation for the reorganisation by separation of the production and trade firm STEJAUR involving the transfer of part of its assets to VERDE CONSTRUCT LLC, and rejected DIRECT LEASING LLC’s preliminary request to annul National Commission for Financial Markets decision No. 56/2 of 3 December 2024 linked to petition No. 7190 of 1 October 2024. The Commission also reported participating in a bilateral screening process related to European integration.
