The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in the 49th annual meeting of the Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-Bank Financial Authorities in Lilongwe, Malawi, where Cooperation Office staff member Jailma de Sá Nogueira was elected to the Capital Markets Subcommittee. The appointment expands Angola’s involvement in the technical bodies that coordinate supervision of nonbank financial sectors across the Southern African Development Community. The commission used the meeting to follow regional initiatives, exchange regulatory practices and support greater harmonization among member authorities. Its participation continues its involvement in CISNA’s governance and technical work, including the network’s April 2026 meetings on supervisory cooperation, regulatory alignment, institutional development and information sharing.
