Venezuela's Ministry of Economy & Finance published the list of applications received for positions on the Board of the Central Bank of Venezuela, as part of the process run by the Merits and Credentials Evaluation Committee. The committee was created by Decree No. 5,114 of 1 April 2025 and the applications covered were submitted during the nomination period set out in a public call disseminated on 2 April 2025, in line with Article 17 of the Central Bank of Venezuela Law (Decree with the Rank, Value and Force of Law). The published roster lists 46 applicants by name and national identity number. Next, the committee will evaluate the submissions to determine whether candidates meet the legal requirements for appointment.
