The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop on “Fundamentals of Capital Markets, Savings and Investment” at Colégio “Os Pirilampos Mágicos” in Luanda as part of its financial education activities. Delivered by Samuel Yengue and Adilson Calueio from the Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication, the session covered the structure, objectives and role of the financial system in channelling savings into the economy, and explained the importance of capital markets as a venue for mobilising and trading medium- and long-term resources through financial instruments.
