The Central Bank of Uruguay held a new edition of its financial education initiative in Mercedes, bringing together students from educational institutions across Soriano to strengthen their financial knowledge and decision-making skills. Through interactive exercises based on everyday situations, participants covered money management, saving, credit, investment, payment methods, financial planning and financial security. The event formed part of the central bank’s BCUEduca program and was organized with local authorities and educational institutions, with support from CAF, Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.
