The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan has issued a licence to the limited liability company Firdavsi Hotel to carry out foreign currency operations as a special service linked to servicing non-residents of Tajikistan on its premises. The authorisation permits the hotel to accept foreign currency payments and, at the customer’s choice, also accept the national currency without restrictions for payment of the relevant services. It requires the hotel to display an information board at the cashier area showing the daily exchange rate of foreign currency against the national currency. The licence does not permit Firdavsi Hotel to engage in foreign currency exchange.
