The Bank of Greece published fourth-quarter 2025 statistics on loans to the domestic private sector that have been transferred to non-resident specialised financial institutions and are serviced by domestic Credit Servicing Firms (CSFs). The nominal value of these serviced loans rose by EUR 604 million quarter on quarter to EUR 80,020 million at end-Q4 2025, with nominal values excluding off-balance sheet interest and write-offs or write-downs recorded by the transferring credit institutions. Serviced corporate loans increased to EUR 28,176 million from EUR 27,584 million, reflecting a EUR 593 million rise in loans to non-financial corporations to EUR 28,146 million, of which EUR 10,137 million related to small and medium-sized enterprises. Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships rose by EUR 68 million to EUR 10,535 million, while loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions fell by EUR 57 million to EUR 41,308 million, with consumer loans rising to EUR 15,790 million and housing loans declining to EUR 25,182 million. Loans to other financial institutions were unchanged at EUR 31 million. The next press release covering the first quarter of 2026 is scheduled for 19 June 2026.
