Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) has entered a technical cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Planning and Budget to receive the source code of the Veredas platform, alongside the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), the Ministry of Social Security and the Ministry of Sports. Developed by the Ministry of Planning and Budget’s Subsecretariat for Administration and Strategic Management, Veredas supports institutional strategic management through modules for monitoring the Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI), the Process Evolution Plan (PEP), Integrity Plans and Interinstitutional Integration Plans (PIN). Built on open technologies without reliance on proprietary solutions, the platform consolidates in real time information on strategic objectives, projects, key results, indicators and delivery milestones, and is used to support quarterly and integrated management reporting. The arrangement is positioned as a way to standardise strategic management practices across the federal administration, enable customisation by each user body and allow recipients to propose improvements to the system, with PREVIC’s superintendent indicating it will use the tool and support further enhancements.
