The State Bank of Vietnam issued an action plan to digitally transform its internal direction and administration, moving leadership and operational management into an electronic environment and strengthening data-driven analysis and decision-making. The plan focuses on deploying modern technology to consolidate data, support analysis and forecasting models, and monitor and measure delivery of assigned tasks and socio-economic development objectives using digital data. It also envisages creating a centralised integrated data repository and an information system to support direction, administration and advisory functions, alongside electronic connectivity and data sharing with the Government and Prime Minister’s direction and administration information systems and databases. The programme is framed as implementation of the Government’s action plan for digital transformation of direction and administration for 2024–2025, with an orientation to 2030.
