The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) published an accountability report for its Integrity Program, presenting the results of its continuous monitoring and the main integrity actions carried out in 2024, which were approved by its Collegiate Board on 18 February. The report frames the programme, in place since 2018 and updated in 2023 in line with guidelines from Brazil’s Office of the Comptroller General, around promoting transparency, ethics and efficiency through the prevention, detection and tackling of fraud and corruption. It highlights four priority workstreams pursued in 2024: staff education and training; identification, assessment and treatment of integrity risks; strengthening governance structures and integrity bodies; and direct integrity promotion actions within the authority, including regular guidance communications and periodic updates to PREVIC’s risk management plan with integrity-specific topics. PREVIC also points to its January-published 2024 Correctional Management Report, which recorded no investigative proceedings involving corruption risks within the authority during the year.
