The Angola Capital Markets Commission reported its participation in the second meeting of the Technical Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s International Network on Financial Education (INFE) in Paris and confirmed it has received a formal invitation to join the network. The 29–31 October 2025 meeting was attended by the CMC’s Executive Administrator Vasco Januário and the Director of the Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication Dalvim Pipa. The INFE operates as an international cooperation platform focused on strengthening financial literacy and financial inclusion through sharing good practices, providing access to technical tools, and supporting the design of sustainable public policies. The CMC linked the invitation to recognition of its work on financial education and consumer protection in Angola, and framed the engagement as supporting closer coordination with other financial-system supervisors and the Ministries of Education and of Higher Education, Science and Technology, as well as the National Statistics Institute.
