Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, OJK) held a governance roadshow in Bandung, bringing together financial services industry participants and university stakeholders through the Governansi Insight Forum and a Student Integrity Campaign at Telkom University to reinforce governance and integrity practices across the financial sector and campus environment. OJK Audit Board Chair Sophia Wattimena positioned integrity as a foundation for sustainable economic growth and linked the agenda to supervisory and prevention measures, including OJK Regulation No. 12 of 2024 on anti-fraud strategies for financial services institutions across all sectors. The roadshow also highlighted OJK’s preventive focus on risk governance in the financial sector, including policies to strengthen digital resilience and information technology risk management, and guidance on AI ethics and governance emphasizing accountability, reliability, and human oversight for responsible and transparent AI use. The forum involved West Java’s provincial government and anti-corruption and audit bodies, framing the effort as part of broader transparency, accountability, and corruption-prevention coordination.
