The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission has announced online activities for World Investor Week 2026 aimed at helping investors assess digital information critically, make decisions based on facts and avoid investment scams. Running from Oct. 5-11, the campaign will focus on investor resilience, digital deception and scam awareness in line with themes set by the International Organization of Securities Commissions. Educational materials from the commission and capital market firms will cover investment fundamentals, risk tolerance, long-term investment discipline and behavioral biases. The program will also promote the use of reliable tools and channels to verify information before investing, while a podcast produced with the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau will address emerging forms of investment fraud. An award ceremony on Oct. 9 will recognize organizations and individuals that promote public financial and investment literacy.
