The Central Bank of Aruba published its second-quarter 2026 Business Perception Survey, showing that the Business Perception Index increased by 3.2 percentage points to 107.5, within the range indicating optimism. The expected short-term economic conditions index rose by 4.7 points to 107.1, while the current economic conditions index gained 1.8 points to 107.8. Businesses shifted toward expectations of flat growth over the next 12 months, with the share anticipating no change rising 13.5 percentage points to 56.4%. The share expecting negative growth fell 14.3 percentage points to zero. Meanwhile, 53.9% of respondents reported increased employment, 92.2% reported a profit and 48.7% expected inflation of 2% to 3% over the next 12 months.
