The Japan Financial Services Agency has published for public comment a draft amendment to the Regulations on the Accounting of Investment Corporations. The proposal would create rules allowing investment corporations to provide asset management reports and related documents to investors by posting them on a website. Comments are due by June 25, 2026 at 17:00. After the consultation closes, the agency will complete the necessary procedures before promulgation and enforcement.
