The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) announced that the Eastern Magistrates’ Court has further adjourned the insider dealing case against Wong Pak Ming to 5 June 2025 for mention in the criminal proceedings brought by the SFC. Wong is charged with insider dealing involving shares of Transmit Entertainment Limited, formerly Pegasus Entertainment Holdings Limited. The SFC alleges that while serving as Pegasus’s chairman and controlling shareholder, he counselled or procured another person to deal in the company’s shares between around 25 August 2017 and 17 October 2017 when he knew information that was inside information relating to Pegasus. Bail was extended pending the next hearing on conditions including cash bail of HKD 200,000, residing at a provided home address with prior notice to Police of any change, and notifying the SFC 24 hours before leaving Hong Kong.
