The Securities and Exchange Board of India has launched the Securities Market TechSprint as part of Global Fintech Fest 2026, in collaboration with market infrastructure institutions and industry bodies. The TechSprint is built around four problem statements: artificial intelligence-driven detection of synthetic media and phishing attacks in securities markets, agentic compliance that converts regulatory text into operational action, a unified multi-asset investing and investor-awareness super app for retail investors, and simpler initial public offering offer document preparation for small and medium-sized enterprises. Participants will be able to showcase solutions at Global Fintech Fest, with prizes of INR 250,000 for first place, INR 200,000 for second, INR 150,000 for third, and jury recommendation awards of INR 50,000 each. Shortlisted innovations may also be considered for mentorship through the SEBI Innovation Sandbox.
