The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission published an update on the outcomes of its “Lifelong Investing: Investology for the 50+” financial and investment education project, delivered in collaboration with the “Manoottangwai” Facebook page. The initiative targets people approaching and reaching retirement age, focusing on managing final lump-sum savings for lifelong sufficiency and strengthening protection against frauds and scams. The project produced one short video clip, three articles, and four podcast episodes released in November 2024, which together received over 2.4 million views. It also included a “financial and investment 101” workshop for people aged 50+ held on 18 January 2025 with over 100 participants, and the SEC encouraged audiences to access the materials via the “Start-to-Invest” and “Manoottangwai” Facebook pages. For 2025, the SEC indicated it will expand education for senior groups with more in-depth and practical content aligned to the life goals of people aged 50 and over.
