The program focuses on education, climate action and nature, and social inclusion and protection, reflecting priorities identified by staff in an internal survey in which 99% supported formalizing the initiative. Planned activities include financial literacy and productive development programs, reforestation, beach and river cleanups, mangrove restoration, and support for vulnerable women, children, people with disabilities and older adults. The program completed the requirements for establishment under the Dominican Republic’s legal framework for volunteering and received the corresponding certification.
