The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Supervisory Committee revoked two licences held by Optima Distribution LLC, effective 21 May 2026, for violating the requirements of Kyrgyz legislation. The decision removes the firm’s authority to provide third-party payment acceptance and settlement services through payment systems based on information technology and electronic payment methods, and to provide processing and clearing services within its payment system. Both licences had been issued on 15 November 2024. One covered services for accepting and carrying out payments and settlements for goods and services on behalf of third parties where the transactions were not related to the firm’s own business. The other covered the acceptance, processing and provision of financial information for third-party payments and settlements to participants in the relevant processing and clearing centre’s payment system.
